Your data
Privacy policy
What Dietecom does (and does not do) with your personal data, in plain words. The French version prevails.
1. Who is responsible
DIETECOM, a French SARL registered in Paris under number 341 828 366, has organised the practical nutrition congress since 1987. For any question about your data: programme@dietecom.com.
2. In short
- No account, no advertising, no cookies, no third-party tracking (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel).
- We only receive personal data when you give it to us yourself through a form.
- Your data is never sold, rented or transferred.
3. Contact form
Data: first name, last name, e-mail, subject, message and, if you wish, phone number. Purpose: replying to your request. Legal basis: your request (pre-contractual steps) and our legitimate interest in replying. Retention: 3 years, then automatic deletion.
4. Dietecom community (news)
Data: name, profile (health professional, partner…), e-mail. Purpose: sending you the programme, registrations and replays of the congress. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking an unticked box; we keep the date and the accepted wording as proof. Retention: until you unsubscribe, and at most 3 years. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our e-mails or by simply asking.
5. NutriTrust
- No account, no identity. The profile you enter (conditions, allergies, treatments, goals) stays only in your browser and is never sent to Dietecom.
- The barcode scanner runs in your browser: no camera image is sent.
- Your searches are relayed by our server to public databases (Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, Wikipedia…): your IP address is not passed on to them. Product photos may be displayed from Open Food Facts (a French non-profit).
- We count tool usage in aggregate (number of searches, foods viewed, profile categories, feedback). No individual search is linked to a person.
- If a product cannot be found, you may leave your e-mail to be notified: it is used once, then deleted, at the latest after 6 months. Feedback comments are anonymous; please do not include personal information.
6. Videos and social networks
YouTube videos only load if you click “Play video”: YouTube (Google) then receives your IP address and applies its own policy, with a possible transfer to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework. The LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube icons are plain links: nothing is loaded from these networks unless you click.
7. What your browser keeps
No cookie is set for visitors. Your browser only keeps, on your device: your light or dark display choice, your NutriTrust profile if you create one, the date of your last visit and, for the current tab, how you arrived (audience measurement, below), and your possible objection to that measurement. None of this is an identifier. Only site administrators receive a login cookie.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Forms are protected against bots without any third-party service or cookie: a honeypot field, a minimum delay and a sending limit computed from a key derived from the connection, kept for one hour and never linked to your message. Our host keeps technical logs (IP address, date, page) for server security, within the one-year limit set by French law.
9. Recipients and hosting
Only the Dietecom team can access your data. It is hosted in the European Union by our host (see the legal notice) and delivered through our e-mail service. It is not transferred outside the European Union.
10. Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction, erasure or portability of your data, restrict or object to its processing, or withdraw your consent at any time by writing to programme@dietecom.com or through the Contact page. We reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
11. Updates
Last updated: 27 October 2026. Any significant change will be announced on the site.
Audience measurement
We measure visits with our own tool, hosted on our server: no cookie, no advertising tracker, no third party. Your IP address is neither stored nor used, and no identifier is created: your browser only remembers the date of your last visit (to count daily visitors) and, for the current tab, how you arrived. Statistics are aggregated and kept for 25 months at most. Your browser’s “Do Not Track” and “Global Privacy Control” signals are respected, and you can object at any time:
